Madison Locally Grown

We are excited to be able to bring you fresh, wholesome products that are produced in and around Morgan County Georgia. We are dedicated to preserving the continuation of farming in our area. Madison Locally Grown is a way in which customers can browse products available, place orders, and pay and pick up orders on a specified day of the week. Orders can be picked up at HunkerDowns Fresh Market, located at 146 Academy Street in downtown Madison . Customers can order as little or as much as they’d like!

Orders must be placed no later than 5 pm on Mondays. Growers will then harvest on Tuesdays and bring products to HunkerDowns. Customers are asked to come to HunkerDowns to pick up their orders between the hours of 4 pm – 6 pm on Wednesdays of that week. Payment for orders will be made at the time of pick up – in the form of cash or check. No credit cards can be accepted.

We want you, the customer, to be able to try our service absolutely FREE for one order, so we’re waiving the $25 membership fee for the first order placed. If you are happy with your order and wish to continue shopping, the $25 memebership fee will be applied when you pick up your second order from HunkerDowns.

We are continually on the look out for local farms to add to our growers’ list. If you or someone you know is interested in being added to our growers’ list, please contact the market manager through this site.
